The 1984 World Series saw the Detroit Tigers play against the San Diego Padres in what's commonly referred to as the "Fast Food Fall Classic." The Tigers were owned by Domino's Pizza founder Tom Monaghan and the Padres owned by the McDonald's founder, Ray Kroc. The Tigers would go on to win their second pennant. However, the San Diego Padres 1984 Fall Classic Fitted Cap is beautiful in its own right. The cap is featured in a headblocked construction with the SD logo on the front and the 1982 World Series Side Patched fully embroidered on the left wear side. The undervisor is kept in time-appropriate green and the rear features the MLB Batterman Cooperstown logo.
