On April 8, 1974, Hank Aaron broke the home run record by passing Babe Ruth's 714 mark. It was as Vin Scully called it, one of the greatest moments in baseball history as well as a civil moment for African Americans deep down South. A lot of stress, burden and pressure must have been lifted off of Mr. Aaron's shoulders when this milestone was achieved. Therefore, in 1999, the Braves celebrated the 25th Anniversary of the record with this amazing 715HR patch.
The cap is featured in solid seaglass with a lemon zest undervisor. The front features the Braves logo with metallic gold details for the vibrant monumental flair. The side patch is also gilded in metallic gold as well as the Cooperstown MLB Batterman on the rear.
