The 2001 World Series was a downright poignant one. It was the Arizona Diamondbacks vs the New York Yankees. The series was played toward the end of October and in to November due to the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center. It was quite possibly the greatest series ever, which came to a nail biter right to the end of the 9th inning on the 7th game. Luis Gonzalez hit the game winning single for the one and only pennant win for the D-Backs to date and the rest is history.
This special edition Calypso Green edition is featured in solid calypso green with a classic grey undervisor, official team color D logo, TTO 2001 WS Side Patch and flat MLB Cooperstown Batterman logo on the rear.
