The Florida Marlins were one of the 2 expansion teams alongside the Arizona Diamondbacks and was established in 1993. Just in their 5th season of existence, the Marlins won the coveted World Series Championship in the 1997 World Series. This was against a hot Cleveland Indians team that defeated the Yankees in the ALDS and the Baltimore Orioles in the ALCS. The Marlins were a wild card team and defeated the Giants in the ALDS and the Braves in the ALCS.
The cap is featured in GAME jet black with official Marlins logo on the front and the MLB Batterman on the rear. The side patch is completely embroidered for the ultimate collector's dream. It also comes with a grey undervisor and white sweatband for the important throwback nod.
