As the only superhero in Watchmen possessing Super powers, Dr. Manhattan is a US Government contracted scientist. Originally a nuclear physicist, Dr. Manhattan was involved a nuclear accident which turned him blue and possess super powers that included foreseeing the future etc. Thus this allowed the US Government to have an advantage over the Soviet Union. This cap is featured in a solid University Blue construction (hence the Dr. Manhattan's blue skin color) with a black flipped undervisor.
